Shrouded Fable

Mr Beard, what do you think about me picking up a sealed case of shrouded fable PC ETBs? I've always felt the set was under rated. The promo is so so but I enjoyed ripping a ton of these ETBs a few years back

The pecharunt Gold card is 18 dollars. It's the 17th most expensive card in the set. To put that into perspective. The 17th most expensive card in Surging Sparks is 8. Journey is 5. Temporal Forces is 17. Destined Rivals is 26. Obsidian is 5. SVI is 10. All of those sets have twice the number of cards as Shrouded Fable. Stop calling it a bad set

Shrouded fable persian and houndoom got me good..i think they have dropped 60% but i love them and i had the budget 😅 just not the patience

Great video but I think your take on the Greninja/Kingdra cards is wrong. In the UK and US at least, we couldn't get either box for retail. I have been very on it with each set, getting multiple ETBs, UPCs, booster boxes etc but even during the Shrouded Fable era, those 2 collection boxes were very scarce. Greninja would immediately sell out and was never in the wild, then resold on the secondary market for 2-2.5x the price, whilst Kingdra was also 1.5-2x the box price. Sure, they were undervalued, but to say people didn't pick them up or were just waiting for the SF era to end is a little disgenious to the actual situation.

Opening a pack of team rocket like its shrouded fable hurts my soul

I play runescape like you say this. Sometimes i take a break but always comes back to this game. Im a pokemoncollector since the release of shrouded fable in 2024. I still love it but the market changes so fast and opening packs isnt fun anymore when it costs so much. When i started collecting booster boxes were 100-115euro and now its doubled the price. Just thinking at every box, is it worth it to open this box? Do I want to collect the set? What if im not pulling 1 single SIR? Now im just opening 1 3-pack blisters at every release and thats it. hopefully the old times to open booster boxes will return. I am a quantity collector since im trying to collect every english pokomeon card to exist. Are these collectors still here or is it just about the money nowadays? I also like slabs, PSA 9 slabs are fine by me just to have it in my display and being protected. Not about the grade or value.

I think the question all the viewers demand is are you wearing a singlet and flip flops doing the renovations? Your arms seem bulkier than normal though so something is changing!! Perfect order is the mega evolution’s version of destined rivals 🤣🤣🤣😏 As a collector, I love seeing a set that is a little lack luster. I love the IR gallery more than the SIRa but I definitely need the mega zygarde and the mega starmie. I think the set might have $50 SIRs at some point. From an investment perspective, if this set doesn’t get a true reprint, we can see the gains that we saw from stellar crown shrouded fable. Still I’m a fan of it but more so for the cheap card potential. Hot take but I think this set would have mimicked phantasmal flames, if phantasmal didn’t have a big chase zard in my opinion. I’m also not a fan of that meowth lol. It’s like a glorified full art. Juuuust my opinion lol. I agree with everything you said though.

Shrouded Fable is not the worst, it has some good trainer cards for the tcg and some awesome IR like Duskull family, Persian and Houndoom plus the set of SARs looks awesome... i think the worst set is stellar crown because other than squirtle / bulbasaur there is no more cards to chase

Does Persian count? I just love the Persian IR from Shrouded Fable, my favourite IR out there
