Dragonite

49 cards · 30 sets · 1999–2026 · Highest FMV $3.2K

Dragonite is a Dragon/Flying-type pseudo-legendary that's been a heavy hitter since Generation II. It's the final evolution in the Dratini line and carries the weight of being one of the franchise's most recognizable dragon archetypes. The type combination and stat spread made it a mainstay in competitive play across multiple eras, which translates directly to TCG relevance. In the card market, Dragonite pulls from both casual collectors and serious speculators. Its appearances span multiple generations and print runs, creating a fragmented supply picture depending on era and rarity. The combination of competitive utility cards and illustrator-driven chase pulls keeps demand steady across different price tiers. It's the kind of species where vintage printings command respect, but modern printings maintain steady interest from deck builders.

Bro how do you call Yveltal a Darkrai 😭 That’s like seeing a Charizard and saying “yo nice dragonite.” Yveltal is a giant red death bird that looks like it came straight out of the apocalypse and Darkrai is literally a skinny sleep demon. They don’t even look related bro 💀 The Pokédex just lost Wi-Fi when you said that. Team Rocket would’ve fired you on the spot for that one. But it’s alright, even professors make mistakes… just maybe keep the Pokédex open next time 😂

Apparently it's because there's no umbreon, charizard, dragonite, mewtwo. I'm guessing the ones that says it's trash are scalpers.
